weber carbie and adapter plate Q
weber carbie and adapter plate Q
G'day all. I just bought a Weber 32/36 dgav off Ebay and plan to put it on my '91 Sierra. The guys out there who have done this before, what adapter plate did you use? The guy I bought the Weber off says his Datsun (1600's, 180B, 200B, Bluebird etc) will fit. Is this true? Cheers

Yeh, I've already looked through that whole thread, copied and pasted it all. But I can't remember seeing anything about the adapter plates used. It's all about jet sizes and other stuff like that. I just need a clear cut answer if the Datsun plate is the right one to get. Cheers.

This is from the weber post.
The adaptor ive used is a lynx manifold adaptor
part No#
KC112 Adaptor kit
5200 holleyDCD DGV Weber
to Nikki & Asian
i got it from autobarn for i think $27 but then i had to go buy some gaskets to put between the manifold, the adaptor and carby.
on another note you will need to fab up a accelerator arm for the carb and if you mount it backwards you may have to move the PCV valve out the way.
read it carefully and you will find out everything you need to know

Ah cheers, that's brilliant. Sorry, must of skipped passed it, don't see how since it's in bold red, but I'm an idiot so it's all good. I've printed out the whole thread, just need to find time to read it all and get all the info into my noggin. Cheers again.
