My neighbour pulled those big orange stickers off his white '80 MQ and didn't even need to buff, but that wasn't faded silver paint. He used a heat gun, petrol and a spatula, it took him a few hours and burnt fingers.

well i have had the car 2days and they were pissin me off :bad-words: i dont know how they have lasted 20years. i had a closer look and now one side is just about bare. looks so much better and im just peeling them off by hand so far i have had no dramas. exept the retro sticker bloke back in the day while triming the stickers pushed a little hard in places, a chip stick will hopefully fix this. (and my parents generation :finger: think my generation do everything half assed :bad-words: )

006 is a colour code for Nissan that was used from 1982 to 1994. ;) I just looked it up for you.

Cheers Mick.
