D1a 50mm Lift?

Post by amshaw »

Anybody know of a good but cheap surplyer in Vic of Lovell Spings or King springs & Dobenson shock 's ?

Getting prices from all over for a 50mm Lift for our 9/97 Disco S1a, TDi 300, ARB winch bar with winch, only a barrier in the rear for now

Please dont tell what you have because Ive made up my mind ....as I found out there are shit loads of Brands, combos and prices out there....just want a basic lift. ;)

PM 4WDstuff on this board, he is in QLD but I believe he offers free freight and his prices are fairly sharp.

Yep, have been talking to Him...umm dont know if its ok to use his name or not... :? but a good bloke to talk too and got heaps of info to pass on. :)

He helped us wade through all the crap thats out there but without the hard sell on one brand or another...In fact the combo he thought would suit ME best , Ive been told by others that will be a very good set up for our needs.

Just doing a bit more window shopping before I hand over my cash. ;)

Plus Im scottish, so I need to hang onto my money as long as possible :finger: :P  ;) :)

Just want be sure Im doing the right thing , one of my motto's is "Do It Right The First Time" :)

Stop faffing about and just buy the bloody lift  :finger:

Its not that big a deal. When you finally realise that you should have done a 3" lift and 2" body lift in the first place to fit the 37" tyres, you won't be worried about how much you spend.

Buy it. Flog it.

Then go bigger
