rear Salisbury convert to front??

If you are serious Micka, then it wouldn't be much extra work to make a 2nd at the same time (for the cost of the materials). I did toy with making portals in the same way that Bill made his, but decided in the end that it is way too much work. Front and rear salisburies, and possibly rear steer, will be more than enough work.

Front salisbury

There is a 4th. option which nobody has mentioned. The Northern Irish police built an armoured version of the stage 1 v8 called the Simba. This had front and rear salisbury's on leaf springs, but 6'' wider.(same as coil axles). These had 1ton brakes all round and stage 1 C. V. joints. I know because I've got 2 pairs of them! BTW they have 4.7 diffs.

Yes, but try finding one in Croatia or Australia. And if you were shipping axles, you may as well ship the (much stronger) FC101 axles.
