BTW, I asked her if she has a roof for it, and she stated that she does not - but did not place the question on the page.

There are enough suss factors here to suggest that you would want to have a good look at it before buying.
This is not legal advice.

We shall await my reply if I get one.

Why is this the 3rd time you have auctioned it and it sold on the first 2 occasions? You have friends upping the bid for you right???

Why when asked questions like "does the vehicle come with a roof" you choose not to make the question and reply visable to all? For those interested it doesn't.

No doubt you will not even choose to make this question and your reply (If I even get one) visable to all but if you choose not to then ebay could end up investigating the matter.

For other ebayers, the previous 2 auctions ended on 6th june and 7th June and it sold both times. Previous auction ID's are 4647761177 and 4645142520. Also check out the bid history on them to see who is bidding.

Hmmm.... suss?

The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.

Musn't have liked my question. :?

I didn't even notify ebay about it so the seller must have got a bit worried that I was going to or something. Suss ;)

G60

Hi Boys & Girls,

The G60 is real, meet the guy on Friday night as I wanted to inspect it for myself.

Looked OK. Has potential. I asked the owner about the previous auctions. Well one guy lived in the UK and was coming over to AU but never should and the other buyer just never paid.

Well I have made the owner an offer and he has accepted.

Good luck then james.

Hey I actaually got a reply and sounds the same story

even though i have removed the item i will answer ur question anyway, the first time it sold the guy who bought it said he couldnt go through with the sale as he is in the uk indefinately, so i relisted it. the second time it sold the buyer would not answer my calls or emails and after 3 weeks i gave up and relisted it again. No i didt have friedns upping the bid for me. the only reason i never made questions and replys visable is because i never thought of it. and o it didnt have a roof. but now that it isnt listed anymore i really dont think it matters.
Cheers

Why you all might smell something fishy (and rightfully so) what I see is a nice clean 79 G60. Granted the motor isn't stock but many of you aussie's don't like the stock P engine anyways.

It is a cool old Patrol, in good shape and fairly unmolested. The shot of the dash tells me lot's...such as it has nearly every stock knob/switch/button, it has a clean padded dash piece, the dash isn't hacked or full of holes. No top? Well perhaps it was an original soft top Patrol which got trashed and was tossed out? There is more I see by the pictures too...

It is well worth $500, I'd buy it in a heart beat if it was on my side of the pond. And it isn't all that hard to just go look at the truck with cash in hand. Like it buy it, don't like it don't buy it...pretty simple.

Plans

Hi Steve,

Many ideas running through my brain cell (yes i only have one)

Maybe

just a play car, leave pretty standard execpt for maybe a diff under, 34" tires(Not yet decided on) lockers and hydralic winch.

TTC test car, diff under, 39" tires, lockers, hydralic winch and cut guards.

Or just leave it as a city car.
