Gday I am hoping someone can help me in how to wire up dual batteries for a winch. I have an overlander 700 (this is my starting battery) and the new optima (d31a) yellow top to give the winch a bit more go. This battery will be inside the car as there is no space in engine bay and I am opting for 20mm wire to minimise current drop.
Any help will be grateful cheers
They are 70mm squared which is bigger then ya thumb
And no they are not from a sub station, they are proper automotive cables. The cable we use that work has much bigger strands in it which would break to easly with the vibs and movement of a 4x4. Plus sub station have closer to 200mm plus cables
