Just looking into what suspension setups are best in a 90' Feroza. The missus' car is definitely due
for some new shocks and looks like new springs as well. What brands and prices are we looking at?

2in lifted (reset and a leaf added by Dumbrell springs) springs, 30in muddies, snorkel, extractors, jap import motor, clutch, leads, plugs, oxy sensor, spotties, thermostat, timing belt, waterpump, ........ damn this car has cost me some money
i still love it tho 
and will never sell it
the ultimate aim is to be atleast close to Toyhatsu in height and power

Yeah, for value for money you can't go past Rancho RS5000!
A lot of replacement leaves are very stuff... so look around unless you and the mrs want a bumpy ride.

Ok I've had another look at her car and the rear springs are definitely shot! They are flat as a pancake
with no weight in it what so ever! Are there any decent brands of springs or is anything good enough.
Are these cars easy to lift? Even if its just 2 inches as she wouldn't need anything serious! Its mainly
used as a daily driver but she'd like to be able to go a bit further occasionally. It's pretty well
set up already just needs the suspension replaced. At the moment she's running 30" Wrangler MTR's
has ally bullbar, scrub bars and side steps. Has newish extractors and exhaust system etc etc...
Will do a search now on the RS5000's and see what i can find...

Basically not being a popular 4WD the options for rear leafs aren't too good. A number of companies make them, but from all the feedback on here (and my experience after spending $$$) you end up with a lift but next to no rear end flex and a shocking ride.
Rancho shocks usually don't get too good a writeup for the Feroza (the RS9000X anyway) because they are also way too hard on even the softest setting.
Do lots of searching through the old threads and spend wisely!

.As murcod said most aftermarket leaves for roza's just mean you need a kidney belt to drive it. Look into getting a custom pack made up a few inches longer with a soft rate and a inch or so longer shackles. Shocks should be checked to make sure that the extended and compressed lengths. The rancho shocks do tend to be a bit stiff. I had OME shocks on my rocky and was happy with their performance.

, post again once they INVERT 
... thats what I drove around on or about 8 months in my rocky when i bought it, and who knows how long the previous owner did ( must have been original springs, 20 years old )As mentioned, custom at a springs joint will be better, and prolly cheaper (was for me)

You could keep the leaves and do a spring over axel conversion 
That way you get lift and keep your flex characteristics.
My rancho's are really really good, and the softest setting is HEAPS soft... softer than you ever need... must be my coils
