for all intents and purposes, light performance wise, they are EXACTLY the same.

The difference between the XGT and the BLITZ, is the body of the light. Basically with the BLITZ, you can unscrew the light off the base like a mag-lite...so any monkey with half a brain can pinch the light off your rig...the XGT has a better body, which can be 'fixed' mounted to your rig, so the body of the light does not screw off from the mounting bracket...thats why when you look at the two...the BLITZ has that little 7 shaped arm coming off the mounting bracket to the light, and the XGT has a funky all ecnlosed case.

Basically if some low-life is going to steal your hard earn dollars, they are going to steal them, but frankly, I'd make it hard for them and go the XGT.

But as I said...light performance wise BLITZ = XGT

ive got the xgt 240s cos i recon they have a fair bit less play n their mounting system compared to the blitz. the xgt has a nice big base plate while the blitz has very little.

as said above the light output is identical and they rock :D

The blitz will fit some bars where the XGT doesn't, and vice-versa.

IMO the XGT has a better mount (i.e. it's stronger/more solid). The XGT also has a replacable/removeable plug into the back of it, wheras the blitz is 'hardwired'.

I hope the prick who stole my XGT's blinds themselves with them and walks into an oncoming truck.

But they were the ducks guts!

xtgs are the go i run 6 and they are bullet proof. one of my blitz 140's have broken already and they are far more protected behind the cab. not as strong material wise imho and i work partly as a plastic chemist. the bodies fill with water too

The XGT is generally easier to mount in tight places being more low line mounting, and being able to turn the bottom section of the bracket 180 deg to move the light forward.

The XGT has a better breather system, and mounts better also.

XGT's are easier to modify than the Blittz to hold a HID bulb....
XGT's dont break as easy due to their lower larger mounting bracket.
Blitz's are way better for spot lighting (in my opinion).

Pricks can steal more of your blitz than your XGT if they have no tools or you have special nuts.
