bleeding sd33 fuel lines after filter change and priming

as topic suggest i need to bleed the fuel lines to get the air out

how do you prime it??

it is an sd33 with aftermarket turbo setup

i bleed my fuel system and i had to unscrew the main blot on top of the fuel filter left hand side and fuel will come out then unscrew the bolts on the fuel pump all in the reapair manual and then use the self priming pump to pump fuel through the lines untill no more bubbles come out look in repair manual for full methods

yeah loosen the left banjo bolt on the fuel filter then hand pump it to bleed out the air ( maybe a few times to be sure ) . then i crack the injector lines at the injector end and then bleed them there using either the starter motor to turn the motor or hopefully the motor will run making life easier.

all you need to do is crack the bleed screw thats on the side of the pump up the top and then manuel prime it with the primer on the pump.

it will be plenty enough to start it.

As per the manuals, it says to use hand pump, crack bolt on top secondary fuel filer and close when no air. Crack the two side screws on the injector pump, again till no air, and then do the injectors.

I found that if you only crack the front screw on the injector pump and pump away till no air, it will start. Then just listen and crack a few injectors to fully bleed. Easier than in the manual. I did it last week with no problems. Hardest was getting the fuel filter off. I suggest checking the primary filter at the inlet union as I found mine partly blocked. Tosssed the secondary filer and cut it open to check but nothing unusual except some minor dirt.
