There are options of computer chips, not knowing where you are is difficult to give any recommendations (in Sydney I can provide some details of companies). What area do you live in?Try_Me wrote:hey guys got a g16b

I'm not too sure on costs involved but the chip would probably be more than starting out with extractors and a good exhaust.

What size exhaust and what brand extractors do you recommended?
Re: help getting power out of a g16b
Heath, I reckon nothing bigger than 2" on any Suzuki is required. This size gives good back pressure. I've had experience with Hurricane but these aren't that good. They can break with a decent amount of offroading (that's not say that other brands won't break either) and don't deliver that much more performance. It's hard to go past the known brands such as Genie and Perry. However, the best extractors are tuned length but I'm not sure if an Australian made system exists (they do in the States).HRZOOK wrote:On that note!Podge wrote:I'm not too sure on costs involved but the chip would probably be more than starting out with extractors and a good exhaust.

Care to elaborate on your thoughts as to these two statements? What is "good" backpressure and by tuned length do you mean tuned equal length or tuned Tri-Y?Podge wrote:Heath, I reckon nothing bigger than 2" on any Suzuki is required.
