Okay i have just got my hands on a spare clutch , and trying to line it up. How to do it with out having a spare input shaft that goes from the gearbox to motor . Mate suggrested just us a broom stick. or do i chase down the right part.

Never used a tool yet , too cheep to by one and never planned on doing that many clutches . But after a few ( one 3 times - dont ask ) they have all been lined up by eye .
Instead of lining it up by the centre , look around the edge much easier to see which way it needs to go then . Altho I am struggling to remember what you line up but it was easy at the time .

I just do clutches by eye. Done a fair few zooks and not had any problem. Depends how much practice you have had. Check repco or other auto stores for a clutch aligning tool. They work well if you get a good one. If not just try to get it by eye. A zook gearbox is only like 25KG so its not that bad to move round.
