Hilux Fuel Guage

Post by frank_n_beans »

I recently bought a 1990 Hilux 2.8D and have noticed a couple of times that although the fuel guage reads halfway between empty and 1/4 full there is still about a third of a tank left when I fill up. Just wondering if this is normal on these models.

mine did that too...

probably something to do with the lack of low fuel warning light, so instead they just gave you a little extra
indubitably
