I was woundering what you guys think of these becuase i can get them for trade price $180 for the back pair and will get the front to next week.
The question i ask is i spend 99% of the time on the road do you guys think these shocks will perform good on the road or are these mainly for 4X4 use.
They would just be a little stiffer than a OEM shock one would think, most '4x4' shocks are.
Stiffer shocks (to an extent) will make your rig handle much better on road usually.. but too stiff can lead to a harsh ride.
Price is good.. I havn't heard reports about the TDT's.. but Monroe have always been an OK brand. I was going to buy these also, but went for Rancho's instead.

You wouldn't know how to test your shocks to see if there stuffed. When you shake the car when u you stop the car keeps shacking/ swaying for a couple of secs
When i had one of the front shocks out it wasn't to bad i thought but the back ones are shot!! They can be pushed and pulled very easily.
I know i can't get my car to handel like a sports car but i think at the moment it's to much sway so hope by fixing the rear shocks it will stop 99% of the swaying etc.
My Rancho shocks can hardly be pulled in and out by hand.. they are quite hard... My old ones moved in and out very easily and were shot also.. The difference the new shocks made was amazing!
Monroe are a good brand, but you could also have a look at the more reputable 4x4 options for even better handling.. it all comes down to money though...
Yeah, your car should rock only once if you bounce it up and down or your shocks are stuffed It should stop pretty much immediately
