Selling TJ for Disco (need more space)

Post by Palacian »

Looking at buying a late model disco diesel and just need to know if there are any particular things i need to be looking out for as far as identifying problems. I know a friend of a friend who has one but has had nothing but problems but Im sure he is just unlucky. But can some please verify the reliabilty of the discos.

Also what mods are required in running 31's and 33's

Many thanks

By a Defender

Then you don't have to mod it to run 33s. Or you can do a 2" lift and run 35s

I'm selling my Dico for a TJ.

To bad mine's an early model with a 4.8 petrol/lpg, but it does have 33's.

Sometimes it feels like there's alot of problems, but it's 'reliable' enough to start each day , and get home again.

What year/model are you considering? D1/Tdi or D2/Td5?
