Post by BLU_ROO_84 »

i am doing a transfer of engines
my spares vehicle has a hose coming from the sump i was wondering if anyone knew what it was for?

my engine in mine doesnt have this

now my engine is the stock 84 petrol engine

the spares car has a stock reco'd 84 engine that use to run a turbo etc and is also petrol

any ideas what this hose is for?
i wanna change motors this weekend and dont wanna leave this hose floating around with nowhere to go.

any ideas?

If it was a turbo engine the pipe would be the oil return pipe from the turbo going into the sump

Might want to check the compression of the ex turbo engine. May have been decompressed to work with the Turbo....
