Hilux 4x4 Rear diff

Post by 4x4Monkey »

OK say i was to transplant a 1G-GTE into a hilux now using the standar gearbox . What diff would be the best option to use.
would the standar diff hold up or will it blow apart

If so what other types of diff have people used when upgrading
ive herd of uni-mog diffs but never realy worked out what they are
Dont worrys There's No Sugar

My 4x4 Is too clean.... Needs a Mud Pack

My rear diff fails with a 22r . I was thinking a patrol diff or a ford nine inch. Plenty of ratios' around for the 9 inch . you just need to sort out the width.

cheers
