price check on 1992 GQ ST PATROL EFI

im looking at selling my 1992 GQ Nissan patrol ST EFI manual

its traveled 400,000kms but was a country car and is mechanically very sound (had full check over by aust 4wd)

comes with 9 month reg and 35" tyres and was full rwc 4 months ago it has a few minor dents and scratchs and has a steel TJM bar

The question is whats it worth ?

when you talk trade to a dealer, accessories mean absolutly NOTHING.
all they see is the condition of the base vehicle, wholesale price and KM's

of course they will then proceeed to sell the vehicle for 15k after some poor bastard has accepted less than 5k for it on a tradein.

agree totally.

suggested to the dude to strip it back to stock, and keep most of the bits for his new car, and sell the other bits to make a few bux.. He was hoping for $7-8k as a trade-in.

they are worth around 6-8K. Well that's what I found out whe I was trying to get rid of my 91 GQ on dual Fuel with 230 000 kms

My mate has GQ TI 93 model with cloth interiour dual fuel ( lpg/petrol) towbar, 250,000kms or so, bullbar, automatic, 2" lift kit with like 10 or 11 months rego on it he wants about 9500$ for it. the vehicle has been road driven though, not much 4wd work ( very very light if any) very very tidy car
