Nissan front diff gears

Post by DNA Off Road »

Any brands to steer clear of – can you get genuine Nissan 4.88s? Price differences? Any facts [or opinions] appreciated.

Cheers

4.88 are only available in aftermarket.
aftermarket is ok in the front but go the nissan gears for the rear.
4.6 gears are the go for 35-36 inch tyres, unless you are planing to run 37 and up all the time i would not be looking at 4.88 anyway

i've had aftermarket gears in front and back of mine for 4 years running 35's to 37's with turbo and never had a drama.
