ive been looking for a pto and i can find heaps of 40 series ones but no 60 series ones

will a pto off a 40 fit my 60

are the petrol and diesel ones any different, ie different transfers or anything

i have a petrol 2f 60
60 series cruiser, GU patrol

I can get a 5 speed 60 series PTO off one of my mates if you want it, (no winch though), I think the 4 and 5 speed pto is different

60 chassis is wider than a 40/75 which are the same width as far as i can tell, no reason you can't make/get a new mount sorted for the actual winch bits, as long as the pto uint is made to suit your model box, check the bolt pattern.

PTO from 40 series all the way to HZJ75's are the same bolt pattern and will fit. The only difference is the lenght of the driveshaft for the winch and also maybe the mounting for the uni-joint. A 79 series PTO has a different bolt pattern and wont fit a 75 or 40 series box. Oh and this is only for split transfer cases i think an early 40 series single piece transfer has a different pto again. Pauwolf how much is your mate after for the pto??? ive got a winch but no pto :cry:

I too have a PTO that needs a good home no winch but it came off a late model 60 series it has the symetrical bolt pattern...if I could figure out why I can't post pics any more I would show ya
