i know your not spose to swear, but there nothing but a pack of Cookie, if those laws are imposed i will have no respect for them(currently 5% respect). you should see d.o.t around brisbane they drive white falcon utes with purple checkers wearing something out of a texas movie.

I have since found out that these laws are now "law" in Victoria. I am sure other states will follow soon. :bad-words: :bad-words:

I spoke to the engineer i'm using yesterday and he has heard about these rules but has recieved no rules or info on this, his vic roads contact has said nothing of this to him either.
He is engineering my rangie for engine, lift and 35's. (he does LRA's stuff).
I will ring him again next week for updates.

That puts a big halt on my plans of doing a guard cut & putting 35's under the Disco :bad-words: :bad-words:

It shouldn't do Brooksy. The 33" tyre max is a Vic rule. A 4" lift on a D2 can be effectively a 3" lift when you allow for the LR suspension ride height tolerances as per the RAVE manual, and the 35's will give a 3" lift again in ride height.

So:
3" in springs
3" in tyres

which is the maximum 6" (150mm) lift you're allowed, despite in practice you having a 7" lift.

It actually makes no difference at all as you already have to have that setup engineered.
Cheers
