Hi Jimbo how are those shocks going?

Your shocks are valved a bit differently on compression to rebound to work best the right way up but I don't think it would hurt the shock at all to run them the other way.

If you ever had a warranty concern, whoever you bought them off may not cover the warranty because they are upside down.

I just installed my procomps this arvo and i love them. They are firmer than the OME but that has only made the ride even better. I took them onto a heavily potholed dirt road and they were also a lot better than my OME!!!

I also flexed them and they are the perfect length which is good because i never measured them properly....i took a bit of a guess ehhehehe.

I never planned on running them up side down i just wanted to know.

Cheers

Jimmy

PS: On extension one of the shocks makes a bit of a squeaky noise. Should i send it back? Its on the drivers side which makes it a bugger to get off on my gq.

I know Bilsteins can go upside down no worries because they are monovalved, (not covered under warranty however) they are valved the same going in as going out.

Giantracing do you remember the reason why twin tube shocks cannot go upside down besides warranty and practicallity??

Ok I have been told that you cannot run your twin tube shocks upside down because you will get air in your shocks and stuff them.
