also why krawlers on the front and mtr's on rear?
Nice pics from a good looking comp.
Good to hear the stinger doing its job. The dirt must have been very soft. It was a surprise to see photos of it going straight over the front. In the first photo it looks like it is just balancing on the stinger.redzook wrote: our BFG's were still getting bolted to the rims
also the stinger done more then half its job
coming up to the big drop there was a climb that the stinger pushed straight up on with out it the front would have just pushed straight into the rock
and the rig has been over forwards and backwards a few times now and it is still running the same bonnet
so it has protected the motor and all the valuable parts
but in dirt the stinger dug in
My generator got treated with similar disrespectTroll00 wrote:Jamie I think it was last at the ABT boys camp they may have it in there gear by mistake
And the person who broke the gauge on my welder, we let you use our gear and expect you treat it as your own and look after it.
I WON'T BE LOANING MY MIG WELDER OUT AGAIN, NEXT TIME BRING YOUR OWN
That's if it even still works!!!!!!!
The blue UNI MIG one is mine, that's the one you used, it's not meant for more than 5 mm steel and it stops feeding wire because it has over heated as it doesn't have a fan to cool it, it cools down and goes again after a few minutes. Your OK Shane you did the right thing by us!FireTruck wrote:Thanks guys (I think??).
Micka/Harley - thanks for the generator - sorry if it was abused. We weren't policing who used it as everyone was just rocking up and using it... assumed they all had permission.
Not Not - first place I would check for your grinder would be Gonads... it may have ended up in his box... wouldn't be surprised if a few things ended up in his box as there were 101 people all using the tools etc in that area.
I am missing a few things as well, but mostly small stuff that I'm sure will be in someone's box next round.
Troll00... which one was your welder?? We used the blue mig which had a birds nest on the wire roll from the minute we got it... tried to straighten it out, and it worked ok but would sometimes stop feeeding wire.

Is all of this a bit of concern? I was at WE Rock and there were a couple of things that I thought could have been better, in saying this I don't want it to stop because of a few things that realy do need attenion.not not wrote:Not a great concern at the moment as i brought a new one for work this morning. I was not aware that any body borrowed it from the spares box and after mick garner asked me if i seen any one take his battery off the back of the ftruck we figured somebody had figured that they needed a few things more than us.
Gonads i may be down that way sometime in the near future to pick up a set of diffs so i will give ya a call and drop in if i can but if not i am shore it will be in good hands till i see ya at the next round Just keep it locked away so work cover dont fine ya![]()
Jeremy you are right It is great to be a part of this sport with a great bunch of people that will do anything to help ya out. So i hope any up coming events are like the finals with good comradery.
Cheers Jamie
