Body lift drama's D21 Navara

Post by alltrq »

G'day all

I've recently put a 2 inch body lift into my d21 which is where my problems have started. I've kept the original body rubbers and put the blocks between them and the body. After a few days i went to retension them again and found all the high tensile bolts bent.

I've used urathane blocks with a steel crush tube inserted. Are the original body rubbers flexing too much??

When using urathane blocks do you do away with original rubbers???

Any help appreciated. Cheers.

The trouble with urethane blocks is urethane flexes & the body is resting on the steel crush tube which does give much support.

Turns out the crush tubes were too long. removed original body rubbers and shortened crush tubes. All good now. Thanks to everyone who so gratefully replied.
