I have just recived my wheels (after what seemed like months of waiting) from fourbys in brisbane. And I would like to say Im really wrapped with the end product, and would like to pass on my thanks to all the guys at fourbys. they excellent to deal with, and the price was great too. just how good??? well they made me 5 off 15x10 steel beadlock rims made to suit my custom offset of 1 5/8" back space with 10mm plate 6 spoke centers and round bar welded in to the inside bead, power coated and deliverd for less than $480 a wheel. which if you look around is a good price. and they look WICKED......once again my thanx to fourbys.

If you use photobucket, they'll give you the command to just cut and paste. Photobucket have 3 commands to use, use the last one, the img command, and then just paste it exactly as it is, into your message whereever you want the photo to appear.

They're illegal because they're a modification to the wheel.
I think technically Second airs are aswell because you have to drill a hole in the rim. They are not as easily seen as mechanical beadlocks though.

Actually, I was thinking just the opposite, I was thinking of some form of black ring like a hubcap that sits over the beadlocks and makes them much harder to see, and all but invisible while in motion. yeah, it because D.O.T say's you cant circumfrence weld wheels. so yeah if you got a set say from the state's that came beadlocked from the manafacturer and the complied with australian standards then theres no real stated rule that you can't use external beadlocks. if im wrong please correct me cause that just my understanding. rockcrawler wheels make a beadlock look alike wheel and so do micky tompson.

yeah I swaped my front 3" leaf packs for 2" one's to get the center of gravity down a bit. shocks cant top out but due to extendard bump stops.
gives heap of down travel though their a 34" shock.[/quote]

Though I was just looking at some wheels in the 4WD Monthly, that are specifically designed to take a "retaining ring" which is also available for them. In which case the wheel would not have been modified, but designed from scratch to take the ring, so un-defectable one would hope.
