Fitting later year FJ40 doors

i have a 1973 Fj40 and want to fit the later year doors (the type with the flat dor handle. i have read somewere i forget were but they said that they would fit with minior mods. has anyone here done it and what did you need to do?

Might be worth a look at www.ih8mud.com they have a lot of info on 40's
