Was also thinking Kym Bolton is/should be on that list. I seen his truck the other day. Total suspension change. Twin coilovers on the rear and singles on the front. Also Normies new addition to his rollcage. Both very nice.

About the enteries I was talking to Laurie @ the qld winch challenge and he said he was going fishing I think!!/ John Butler also told me that he wasn't competing but Kim is travelling across Australia at the moment but he enquired on the dates of the XI to fit it in. that's about all I Know

Preperation is going great, only have rollbar, sidebars, bullbar, tray, paint and winches to fit, oh yeah and a seat for the navigator and electrical wiring. Other than that, see you in 3 weeks.

I don't think Bill is competing as his truck is still in bits when I spoke to him the other day. John Butler is, I think he mentioned something the other day about it when I was around there but don't quote me

yes getting close.
truck is nearly ready just a few thinks left to go. the worlds best mechanic
MIKE from ON & OFFROAD MECHANICAL is giving it a final once over so i am sure she be right !!!!!

then i have a nice new 6hp for the 8274 to go on and thats about it !!!

so we will see you all there !! it will be a blast and remember its not about how well you go , its just the fun of competing !!!!!!!!

4wd TV is flying 4 staff up...Miranda and Simon will be up earlier for numerous meetings before the event and Tom and Adam will be up just before the event starts.

All 4 will be on site filming for the entire 8 days as per normal.

We are only able to do this thanks to the support from Dave Metcalfe and to Tom and Adam for so much overtime in getting us ahead with the episodes and the Round 2 DVD of which we have all worked late nights for over two weeks to finish in time....and yes it is different again to the last one and packed full of excellent action.

The 8 Day is one hell of an experience and we are looking forward to it as well as catching up with most of the competitors.
