I think it would attract the unnecesary people more than a set of 31's or 32's would though.
now ya talkin 31 -32' unless you have a tandem and private property..
If you really wanted to ask " are 32's OK" you should have said.
The issue is not the WB, it is the amount of work you want to do to get the tyres on at a sensible height.
Most of the time, when people talk about tyres over 32 on a sierra, they assume that it has to be done SPOA, which immediately means the WB is too short for the new height (5" of SPOA+3"tyre lift makes for a high COG)
Greg's new project will comfortably run full height 35's, and from the look of things, it will also run full height 36's which would mean most 37" tyres. It was a lot of work - tubbed, narrowed in the front, firewall pulled back, etc, but it will clear fine with short shackles, OME springs and 2" body lift. All the rest of the room is in the bodywork.
It has RUF, so the wheelbase is 40mm over stock.
IMHO what makes big tyres ineffective on SWB cars is the height the car end up not the tyre size. If you keep it low there is no problem with more tyre.
