any 1 put a single bolt on panel on the rear of a patrol mq-mk to turn it into a styleside with out having to weld the panel in place if so could u reply as i consuted my engineer today and my idea was bogus not engineerable so i decided to style side it instead just after some ideas and possible examples ppl have used cheers

Are you saying you wanted to basically bolt a panel behind the seats of an SWB MQ/MK and thus have an easy styleside ute?

Because if that's all you're suggesting, I don't think that would even need engineering, it's just an alternative "canopy".

Not quite sure what you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to have a tube/flat tray like a tonner or are you trying to have a separate styleside like a falcon ute? Either is easily done as lone as you have a panel at the rear of your cab to separate you from the cargo space. ;)

yeah im just gunna leave the body the same and just build a king cab panel to bolt into place so i still have a tub but more interior space

How would it differ from just taking the fibreglass off. As said before you're just adding a cargo barrier with a panel bottom section.

As an engineer I say this with respect, Engineers shiat me. Too busy about litigation rather then what's practical.
