Fuel Comsumption and Mods for lux

Post by thepatroldude »

G-day am after a

1998 Hilux onwards, it will be diesel the 3.0 litre Dual Cab. Just wondreing if it would be benefitial to get the turbo 3.0TD?? or will this just go through the juice. I have been told that these engines are very reliable and strong.

Who on this forum can tell me what economy they get and from what size tank.

The only mods will be 31's on 15x8, will I need to change diff ratios??
I might be putting some lights on the roll bar, will this reduce fuel economy, I've been told it wouldn't be anymore then say a roof rack.

Other then that I have searched through the TOYOTA section, but I found more sections for doing major modifications, rather then simple ones.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!
