Rear diff Brakes for front digs
been giving this abit of though lately,
i dont want to run the push by hand levers that most of the buggies run that are tapped into the rear brake cylenders that hydraulic pluu the rear brakes in.....
i also dont want to use a cable hand brake on the rear diff if i can avoid it.....
how would i go with something like this???
thoughts?? anyone used these? they any good? whats the price like???

cut in brake levers cant be used as a hand brake unless ya make up some sort of ratchet lock for them..... thats y i like this setup as it can be used as a stock locking handbrake as well as rear cut ins....

looks like an expensive cutting brake set up
We've got (at the moment) a cable setup on the back of the Rodent as cutting brakes. They barely work. Was worth a try as the calipers we used had provisions there already.
Have a look at the Racer Imports website much cheaper than the setup you're looking at on ebay.
Or talk to Haultech about their pnumatic over hydraulic cutting brakes if you don't want levers.

I dont think thoses handels lock either, they just look like the standard park brake, u dont want the handel locking on when your drifting or rallying which is what thoses are made for.
U know about the electric soloindes u can use for a park brake?? U just push your foot on the brake flick the switch and take your foot off, holds the pressure in the lines. U could but 2 in so both the front and rear brakes lock up for parking brakes and then just use the run of the mill hand levers for your cutting brakes?
