I have a PWR radiator that came as part of my intercooler package. It is about 300mm/300mm. What im considering is to cut in into 2 smaller cores 150mm/300mm and use as a engine oil cooler and a power steering cooler. Would this core be ok for this purpose or are oil cooler cores different?
Thanks
Daniels

Daniel the radiator cores can't handle the sort of pressure generated by the oil pump. Just get a dedicated oil cooler/s for engine and power steering they aren't that expensive.
Check out PWR's own website at http://pwr.com.au/pwr/index.asp and have a look at the oil cooler section, prices are there as well.
Regards Andrew.

hey guys i have great contacts to a radiator supplier that can supply aluminium racing triple core 52mm thick radiators. i already ordered in 6 in and these are dam good quality, however i ordered them in for sports cars( r32,r33 skylines, wrx, 200sx for my mates that into motorsports), i can get 4wd ones too.
i can also get oil coolers of different sizes, these are all direct fit and no modifications need to be made. if anyone here is interested in upgrading their cooling system perhaps i can organise a group buy.
price for the radiator are approx $500each i can get back to you on the 4x4 depends on the size of the radiator. mate just reported back that his r32 nissan skyline runs 10 degrees cooler than his orignal operating temp!!!
