GT28RS Garrett Roller bearing Turbo?

Post by Buckshot »

If I was able to get one of these for a good price would it be a good one to stick onto the Patrol?

The add says it is a good upgrade on the SR20T Nissan four cylinder.I have read about them being put on Patrols as well.

Would one of these bolt straight on?If not what modification would be needed?

Why wouldn't you buy one from OS?

It's not a real Garrett.

It's a cheap copy, that will probably work ok, but no gurantee of quality like the real Garrett name brand.

Aaaahh a trap for young players!Didn't notice it actually didn't say "Garrett" in the ad.

So would a real one be easy to fit onto the Patrol as is or would I have to modify bits?ie.exhaust manifold?

Best idea would be to get a TD42T exhaust manifold, they bolt up to the GQ's petrol or diesel

The engine is a TD42T.No intercooler though.Does this mean it would bolt on?

Was thinking I would then fit an SR20T Dump pipe as well.Surely these can't be hard to get hold of.
