Guys, we are half way there.

Another 10 teams to go, still about 3 months before deadline, so plenty of time yet.

Sorry I havn't put my name down yet guys. Will put it down just now though the team name is likely to change at a later date as I havn't even talked about that wih my mate yet. Dates are good for us at uni too!! At the end of the mid-semester break so shouldn't be a problem

Bump

Any further updates on entry numbers? I've got to start auditions for my own navi (usually my mates bro does it but this time we'll get a navi for each car).

Make sure you get it happening over there guys, I just did one of their events in Victoria on the weekend and it was awesome, really well organised and a heap of fun, you won't be dissappointed if you get amongst it I guarantee it.. So get a team together and have a go!

Good luck with it.

It would be a shame for you guys to miss out cos they're shit hot events. I also can't see it fair of you guys to expect them to do this event with less than 20 cars as that would mean that those competitors over here would be partially funding your event by entering over here.... SO.. Get off ya bum and get into it, you wont regret it.
Cheers.

tell me what does a navrun involve?
do you need a gps?
if at night i wouldn't be keen as open vehicle gets chilly and other ppl always try and throw mud at ya.

A navrun involves GPS navigation. It would be advisable if you knew how to use a GPS and read a map.
You are given a list of way points at the begining of the day, you need to find them and then replicate a photo from a sheet of phots you have been given.
Stick maps and photo stick maps are usually part of the second days course.
Not normally any night stages so open vehicle would be fine.
Cheers. If you want any further info feel free to pm me and i will give you a competitors insight or pm navrun, the organisers.
The are great fun... really good events, highly recommended.
Cheers.

RE-BUMP

Did we get the numbers??? I'm guessing by the lack of talk that its a no go esp considering 30th sep is less than 2 weeks away and theres no more info. Shame really. I was looking foward to it. I guess if an event aimed at all 4wd's struggles to take off theres not much chance of the hardcore scene hiting Perth anytime soon.... oh well.

Thanks to the 7 who put their names down. As for the rest of WA that was pethetic :!: We just completed a round of 4 Navruns in Vic where we had 40 rigs at each and mostly different dudes.

Next year we have over $25,000 in prizes and the Gembrook Navrun is going to be sold out before Christmas. C'mon peoples, get it together!

We had 13 teams (26vehicles) put there names down we needed 7 more.
But yes I agree so many people will complain that there are not enough comps in WA yet when they are run wont participate.
