You`ll learn

1 I bet it doesn`t flex as well as he says it will.
2 the bolts that hold your high steer arms on will keep working loose and you will break studs all the time. His reply if you bring it up will be use a torque wrench on them and tightne them to toyota specs.
3 the tie rod ends will bind up and wear the rubber boots out super quick.
4 I bet he carries on as if you were best mates.
5 I bet if you ring him you`ll get put on hold 3 out of 5 times.
6 If he says I`ll ring you back I bet he never does.
7 Have you got a snake racing tube bar for it?
But other wise yeah it looks sweet as.

i do things myself and with the help of mates......on that note remeber the work you do on your own car is always better than paying someone else to do it, so if your a sucker and you wanna pay to get it done thats your problem

I wouldn't call it bagging more so constuctive criticism and learn from others experinecs. I would be droping some of them leaves out might lose a bit ride height but will give better flex by the look of the rear shackle angle it will compress alot but not drop much from where it is. My 2c for now.
plenty of parts on the bench

In no way do i see gut's post as bagging. He is simply advising you of what you need to keep in mind as you use your vehicle.

You now know that you need to check your tie rod boots, steer arm bolts etc etc

Did you ever think that by stating this he may save you some headaches in the future?
Well I'm guessing that they didn't think everyone would carry on like a big bunch of sooky girls over it like they have........
To understand why the high steer arm bolts come loose you only need good eye sight. The thickness of the arms is to deep and the washers that go on top of the cone washers hit the side of the tappers before the cones are done up tight. You can see it with the naked eye. I told rhino what the problem was years ago and his fix it was to put the ribs on the inside of the tappers and supply new studs with the arms. But the same problem is still there even wwhen you use all the studs, nuts etc he supplies with the arms.

Oh and as far as installing goes HE had my high steer installed as it was the first hilux in Aus to have it done.

I could go on for hours about BS things I`ve been told by him over the years and the crap he has done or the number of people I have had tell me what a dick he is, but you don`t seem to want to listen. However you will learn and one day you will agree, snakeracing is just that, a snake

I never bagged out your hilux, only snakeracing.

As I have allready said your hilux looks cool.

Now as for De-Lux, where have you been for about the last 2 years

Snake Racing using pics of my hilux doesn`t bother me one bit as long as they are pics that were taken back when they/he sponsored me. If snake ever uses a pic from today (so to speak) it will however be a different matter.

Actually Guts i think you realy are out of line. You know my opinion on Snake Racing Products and i dont feel i need to bag someone out for purchasing them. You realy only had 1 point you should have brought up. The fact the steering arms are not designed right. And unless they have changed since last i had a set in my hands then you are going to have issues.

The only other comment i can make is to say that you realy need to plate the chassie with 5mm from the engine mount all the way to the body mount on both sides of the RH rail when mounting an IFS box. If you dont do it now you will do it later after the chassie breaks. And i guarentee it will. They all do. Maybe not straight away but it defianatly will.
