Where to buy air hose?

Post by beaver700 »

Gday,

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could buy some of that airhose that goes from the airbox to the intake manifold? I have cracked one on my sierra, and I wasnt sure if it was a genuine suzuki part, or if it can be bought at repco etc... I just dont want to waste half a day driving around the city if there is a good place I could go...

Any suggestions appreciated,

Thanks

I got mine from repco, the longest one they had in stock just fitted. Needed to tape it into the plastic bit on the airbox to get it to hold though.

I just re-read your post, do you mean the one that draws hot air from the shield on the exhaust manifold.

Hi,

Sorry, I acually meant the 'flexy' airhose that goes from the top of the airbox to the carbie. The reason I asked was because I needed to setup some sort of air intake like the one used below, and I needed somewhere where they could sell bits and pieces of rubber hose/ elbows , etc, preferably not repco, who usually just laugh in your face  or would repco have these sort of things?

Went to repco today, all they had was some blue ricer looking hose in an elbow shape, and they wanted $110.
