Hi,
We have a Pajero io, 2000my with the 5-speed, great little car but one thing really gets up my nose.
When cruising at 100km it sits at about 3,400-3,600rpm. Im always looking for another gear when in top.
Is there anyway of remapping the ecu or another way of cutting down the rev's a little?
Or is there another box I can put in ....like a 6 speed ????

you could run different diff ratios but that would effect all your other gears aswell.
you could also try sitting on 90.it saves a bit of juice to
are you running bigger than stock tyres? cause if you are you might be doing 110-115kmph.
my nc petrol does 3000rpm at 100kmph

mines doing yeh about 3000rpms sitting at 100km/h, but thats on the speedo, so yeh its more like about 106km/h.
hence i usually sit about 95km/h on my speedo which turns out to be about 100.7km/h doing about 2800rpms. and yeh i consider that high, dont want 5.29s
