Ute Tray questions...

Post by vanzbrown »

Just looking to see how you guys out there that have trays on your utes have mounted mud flaps to keep it legal... I rekon they look hideous, but never the less, need to have them...

Just looking for good examples of what others have done. Cant imagine just hanging em off the tray...

Also, any pics of how you have loaded all ya gear when heading off bush for the weekend. Ie, do you just tied everything to the ute tray, or have you made up clamps for shovels/eskies etc... Im just unsure whether or not to get a tray or a tub on my ute.

Cheers!
Leeroy.

For the mud flaps fold up a bit of ally chequerplate, these could be held on with a couple of bolts that are easily removable if you want. as for packing stuff make brackets for the stuff you want to have on the back when you wheel and tie down the rest of the stuff which you leave at camp.
