WHats the wheel stud thread size on a paj?

Post by pongo »

I have some Factory mags i bought off here ages ago, and they have a square hole for the nuts instead of a taper.

I was hoping to find out if the paj nuts will fit on my Nissan, might save a few $$ and headaches chasing up some nuts.

Thanks

P.S. Or will tapered nuts holem on no probs. Its going to be pretty much an on road toorak tractor

You'll have to get square section nuts and washers. Don't think they're that expensive. I wouldn't use your old tapered nuts as they wont seat properly!

FWIW, I had some Nissan (Skyline) alloys converted to tapered seat inserts so I could run tapered wheel nuts.

I don't remember the price, but it was cheaper than buying the required wheel nuts. Four or five years later, and they're still going strong. :)

You are correct. Paj's are 12mm x 1.5 same as Toyota. Nissan's 12mm x 1.25.

I can't tell you of a simple fix 'cause I don't know of any Nissans running that style of wheel nut. Be careful also of the diameter of the shank of the wheel nuts as this helps locate the wheel rim along with the centre boss of the hub.

Hope this helps,

Yonnee.

Nissan are 12 x 1.25, same as Suzuki.

Mag nuts should cost around 2.50 ea, with washer
