GU diffs, front and rear

Post by 90pickup »

I will run a GU front axle on my LR and a custom made rear GU on the back. Does a front ARB locker (31spline) fit into the rear GU third member? Is the ring and pinion the same front and rear? I also noticed that the splines on the CV`s are the same as on the shafts (both 31), correct? Cheers

Assuming you have the small H233B rear as opposed to the large H260 rear, then the diff centres are interchangeable with the exception of the axle spline count (31 frtont, 33 rear). But you can swap over the 2 side gears inside if you need to.
