Hey guys just a quick Q on the subject of LSD's in ye ol toyota hilux 2002.
Just jacked the back of mine up and spun the wheels, they both spin in the same direction. I seem to remember reading that if you had an LSD they would spin in opposite directions? I was just in at ARB playing with there display air locker and they spun in oposite directions on that one.
Can somebody clarify for me?
Cheers
Brad

Re: Quick LSD question.
When the airlocker is locked you shouldnt be able to turn the axle, when its unlocked you will be able to spin the axle... the displays dont have a pinion wheel for the crown wheel to rotate round, hence when locked nothing moves....Rb25sil80 wrote:Hey guys just a quick Q on the subject of LSD's in ye ol toyota hilux 2002.

Another test for lsd is to jack 1 wheel up and try and turn it... if it doesnt turn or is very stiff you will have an LSD....
