gq/gu manual locking hubs

Post by sw1 »

anyone actually know if and what models of manual locking hubs are interchangable?

i have auto's and would really like to get a set of genuine manual's.

according to nissan there is no listing of manual locking hubs for a 2003 gu, & according to them 'they wouldnt recommend it'

so i thought maybe a set from prehaps a gq or something. i have seen gu's that are dx's with manual hubs, anyone KNOW if they will work?

Yes they will work

What you need is the manual hub and the drive clutch that sits on the end of the CV joint. Thats what the manual hub locks onto to transmit drive

Auto's are just a PITA. they can break easy and if you want to use low range in 2WD u can't (i use it to pull our boat out of the water off the ramp)
