I'm getting a bit worried about this, my folks were going to come and watch, not sure how they'd handle seeing that?

Anyway on a serious note, I've got some great news, just want to mention that Mannell Motors has come on board as a sponsor of our team and is supporting us for the future in all comps, starting with Cliffhanger! We're absolutely stoked to be getting their support, so if you need anything 4wd any time drop in and see the boys at Mannell's and tell em Beretta sent ya! Thanks to Nick Mannell and the team for the support! :)

Hobzee and I will be leaving sometime today. However as usual we are organised

We have full coverage of mobile and internet so we are able to update everyone daily on outerlimits and our email lists, etc.

We will have Danni update all with photos and info as well when she arrives in time for the comp.

We can be contactable 24/7. Either by email at navrun@navrun.com.au or by mobile phone. Steve: 0414 462 386, Rudi 0427 908 464 (phone me first prefered).

Entries for competitors and spectators are accepted until the last day (Fri, 3rd Nov). You can still use the submit form on our website www.navrun.com.au or just phone us on the above to register.

This year, we have tripled our compeditors and quadrupled our spectators. Thanks all you have supported us.

Thw weather will be kind for the next 4 days, a nice dry 26, 28 & 30. Still no rain in sight, but I guess that is much of Australia anyway.

Cheers Rudi

Just got off tht phone from Rudi,
he said the weather is quite mild at the moment, even has his flanelette shirt on (whats new) he mention the next few days and going to be mid 20's so I guess that is better than high 30's.
The night have been cool enough for a good nights sleep.

he is calling later tonight so I shall keep you all updated when I hear from him.

Spoke to Rudi,

Showers and toilets are in and set up all runing well. fuel has arrived, for those of you requiring fuel Steve has asked that you bring and empty jerry can.
Temps are low 30's, showers are expected Thursday and friday (yeah right).

Please make sure you check the closing time of fuel stations as Ivanhoe and Wilcannia have limited hours.
If anyone needs the phone numbers of the above please pm me as I thier phone numbers from last year.

Rudi and Steve have set some great stages up and are looking forward to everyone arriving for the competition to start.

Beretta,

Rudi said they have 25 entries and 70 spectators.
He believes each class will have equal amounts of competitors.

Hope this helps.

HEY RUDI AND ALL THE CLIFFHANGER COMPETITORS.....HAVE THE BEST TIME YA ALL  ....wish we could be there also....hopefully next year. Still working on getting the swb steering right.
Happy to say we're getting there.....the replacement of front rims has sorted the real bad wheel wobble for starters, who would of guessed it was that!.

Remember to take note of what time you start a nav run, so you get back in time!!!!

Peoples
I geot this message from Danni who is up there at the moment....

Its raining here and they are about to close the road thru to wilcannia please advise anyone who intends to travel thru this way to call the Ivanhoe police station to check the road is open again as they say it will only be closed for a short time. If you have to wait it would be advised to wait in HAy as it is slightly more civilized then here.

Rudi here from Cliffhanger on the computer in the middle of the outback at the Cliffhanger base camp.

We had some excellant rain and temp. is beautiful. They haven't had rain for 4 months.

It was plenty enough to soak the ground well and truly and keep the temp. and dust down. Nothing too severe.

The Ivanhoe road should be ok, but please check with Ivanhoe police station. It dries out fast here.

All satges set up and ready to go, and boy have we got some awesome ones. Especially around Red Hills; terrain more terrifying than any rock crawling stage.

Give us a call if you need any info, or want to spetate or enter last minute 0427 908 464

Dannii will keep you posted during the comp.

Cheers Rudi

Not willing to risk it with someones elses car amd camper trailer in tow...so we steered clear...

Cliffhanger was awesome

As Rudi said, there'd been some rain and it was a little windy all weekend so the flies and high temps were kept at bay...

I don't have the scores as we had to bail Sunday night, but all in all it was fantastic and I highly recommend everyone get their backsides up there next year!
