94 hilux ignition truble

Post by Lux_89 »

Hi guys, its my first car 94 model hilux with a 3 litre diesel. I wos driving home yesterday n it died. It turned out to be the fuel filter wos clogged with shit. It ran all day then went to start it today n now it wont start. It has no glow plug light on the dash. Checked all the fuses and checked the filter but still wont start and when i turn the ignition on to start, there is no plug light and it makes a beeping noise.... any ideas? cheers. ;)

Um not sure.. still figuring where things are as it is my fist car.. Do you no where it is located on a 3 Litre Diesel? thanks, and i managed to figure what the beeping noise was, it wos coming from the alarm/sender on the fuel filter saying there was water in the fuel because the float on the bottom was up. I drained the tank, and the filter, and gonna go from there but i still have no plug light on the dash. what do you think? thanks mate ;)

Just so you know, it'll be a 3L motor, 2.8 litre.

Do your accessories etc. turn on with the key or is everything dead?
