gday,

i've got a 85 lux with a 3y, ectractors and a piddly 1 and 3/4 inch system

i wanna go bigger, for more power and a nice rumble. any suggestions

i was thinkin of cuttin it at the extractors, going 2 and half inch straight through to either one big cannon (turbo muffla) or splitting into twin 2 inch pipes (using a y-piece) with slightly smaller cannons.

has anyone done something similar and whats the best combo???
Wanted.... 4.88 or 4.56 front GQ diff center. Also wanted... GQ rear diff complete.

on my old lux (85 Diesel) i just had 2 1/4 off the extractors through a hotdog and it gave it a nice rumble

I USED TO OWN AN 87 4RUNNER WITH A 4Y, IT HAD EXTRACTORS WITH A 2INCH EXHAUST AND A GOOD QUALITY SPORTS MUFFLER AND IT HAD A GOOD NOTE TO IT. I WAS TOLD BY A FEW EXHAUST SHOPS UP HERE IN BRISVEGAS THAT ANY BIGGER THAN 2INCH WOULD OVER EXHAUST THE MOTOR EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WORKED. :) :) :)
