I Need a zuk motor ..

Post by Guy »

My little brother has cooked his motor in his Zuk, I am tyring to diagnose it remotely from Bright but it sounds as if it is terminal .. (from what I can gather he drove from Cambellfield to sunbury with little to no coolant )

My dad is on hand in Sunbury (vic) to do the swap.. but he is from Cairns and has no idea where to buy stuff from.

If the head is OK I woud like to swap it onto a 1.6 block .. anyone got a motor for sale or know of a good long or short block ??

Cheapest I have found so far is $900 for a 1.3 second hand runner .. or 1400 for a reco 1.3

As my dad will be doing the swap, he will need it to be pretty strait forward (ie remain carburated for now) and as I am pretty certain my dad will also be paying for it .. I need it to be as cost effective as possible.
