What is this hook for

those holes on the arb bar are shit, they bend and twist the uprights as well as buckleing the bar. i had them fitted there and after a light recovery they bent approched arb about it and they recond the holes where not even put in by the factory, until i pointed out the bull bar on their demo car also had them. after that they tried to come up with every escuse under the sun as to why they where there in the end he admitted they where for bolting on a hook but it wasn't to be used for recoveries only decoration

Thats a pisser. Bloody retailers... The gu deluxe bar doesnt have the holes and there isnt enough meat there to drill holes. Bugger. Might drill through the front and bolt some eyelets on and use and equaliser strap!

The only safe place to mount a recovery hook is directly to the chassis.
