you can get safety pressure switches that when your air setup reaches a certain amount, they spit the dummy and your air system shuts off, or the valve pops out..
say you can only run 90psi for ARB's, and your compressor keeps building up air pressure past this, and your safety pressure switch is at 95 psi, it will shutdown the system / release the valve to release air (depending what type you have)..

Thought that might be the case but it's the airline to front and airline to rear bit that confuses me

yeah i have an airline to the front and rear for inflating tyres. i also have pressure saftey swtich which cuts the power in and out and a pressure relive valve incase this fails. for the electrical wiring. only the rear locker will work when aircompresor is switched on. i dont have front locker for a while and the rear will go in when i get this fitted up. this weekend if theres no rain
im running a sanden 507 compressor. i was going to run fuses. didnt think i would need a relay but should put one in to save the pressure switch. i aslo one more question. you guys that are running sandens are you running inline oilers. or just putting a put of oil though every couple of months. thanks chris

Ruggers, I run a Sanden 508. Forget the manual switch in the electrics. Wire a relay to your ignition, then through your pressure switch, to the AC clutch. The system will then be automatic, with air presure kept up as required. This is the system I use, virtually the same as yours, except for that change. I put a bit of oil down the intake every couple of months or so. Also, drill and tap a grease nipple into the sump plug of the Sanden. Then hit it with a few pumps of grease at the same time.
Mud makes excellent toothpaste.
