i fitted a pto from a hj47 i think and all i needed to do was fiddle with the shaft lengths.

it does the job.

What transfer you r running is the question, 40/60/80 are all different bolt pattern transfer pto ports, if you match that part the rest can be booty fabbed up.

General rule of thumb is if the bolt pattern on your pto drive is the same as the output plate on the tranny case , it will fit. The majority suit late model split case - the early model ones are a bit harder to find.
My pto came of a 60 - I have late model split case which is the same, so just a matter of shortening the drive shaft. When i bought mine all I did was take the inspection cover plate with me...
