Ok for those that watch the footage from Bushy and think it was all a druken stuper well you are nealy right ,but the objective is to start go over the obsticals to half way skull a drink go back over the obsticals to the start line to finish but the catch is one member of the team must carry a raw egg from start to finish and the egg must be not broken at the end and placed in the hat . The fastest time (done under a stop watch) wins. now knowing that rewatch the footage ,and you will now see the sabotage of the teams to slow them down .   fun but everyone is a bit sore  :D   .

Being >30 degrees hot both days, we needed to keep a really close eye for smoke..........that old saying, where there's smoke there's fire....does not always work.
lets just say that at least 4 buggies don't really like running with too much oil in the pots.

The comerrardierre (sp) at this event is unbelieveable.
After the ABT crew blew their Powerglide Transmission on the first track(which put the out for the rest of the competition) they helped out with the other teams, even 'parting' out bits to help the other competitors.
Mock - hows the brakes ??
Rob - have you bought those Airshocks from him yet ?? you need four of them....not just the 2 front ones.
Cal - great grinding work.....I believe there was only one small grass fire, quickly extinguished.

An awesome team is ABT.

good pics "BETSY" & turps !!!

had a grouse wk-end !!
I nearly didn,t compete (f*cked my back at work thursday nite)
But i did any way !!!

our day started crap ............

ss1 .. b4 the first gate , rob gasssed it up & ledge , goes sideways off it & rolls (back onto its wheels) but out of the course !! NO DAMAGE !!! :D

ss2 .. going good on this stage , i wanted rob to do 1 thing , he wanted to do another , slides sideways down a ledge (most ppl did the same) but he flops onto his side between 2 trees !! quick recovery !! all still good !!

ss3 .. easy climb up the first ledge , big sidangle going up the next step , motor stalls !! wont re-fire !! :?
checked fuel ? not enuff in tank to reach the pick up !! DOH !!
stole some 2-stroke fuel from cheezy,s PA genni , used a cone (rob had already hit it !! :D ) as a funnel !! still wouldn,t start !!! called it !!
crane picked him up , rob hit the start button , it fired straight away !!! DAMN !!!

ss4 .. completed the first climb easy , reversed down the first drop-off , easy , started going up the second big climb , i told rob to punch it , HE DID !! got to the top in spectacular fashion !! I was a long way out to the right ,
but the top link snapped off the diff , broke the coilover lower mount , so the buggy turned hard right & chased me !!!
I was very lucky , I pushed off the bonnet & ran , taking Tim(ABT) with me (he was taking foto,s !!)

just glad it was the last stage !!!

more later !!!

Moose

huge THANK YOU to Pip & tim , for the loan of there rear shocks for day 2 !!!
Thanx guys !!

Ok finally got access to a puter,
We got back around 1am this morning, had an absolute blast down there over the weekend.Congrats to all the competitors, all you guys made it a pleasure to marshall all weekend..

There were some great drives over the weekend and some big breakages and rolls..
But as per usual the sportmanship and comradery from all competitors at OZROCK stands out above all as something very very cool...
If you broke you had help coming from everywere to help get you back on the courses, and even when some people broke beyond repair they still helped out and even took parts off there buggies to keep other teams going..(pip & tim YOU GUYS ROCK)

Sat night was once again very cool, the arvo and early night at the pub was to say the least the start of a fun night...And seeing webbie do his goose dance that would have to be the highlight of the night...

Then it was back to the camp area for some more beverages and the start of the human rock crawling games.what can say, there were some going to be some sore and bruised people coming away from the games..
The local fun police even came passed to make sure things were above board and had a bit of laugh at our expense...more than likely driving off thinking to themselves what a bunch of clowns....

Anyway i would like finally thank cheezy, sharon, webbie and guts for arranging and holding again one of the best events in Australia....

I can't wait for the 2007 season.

Regards
Jamie

Now thats funny stuff!!!!

Man, what a weekend!!!! It's amazing how after each event you think to yourself it can't get any better than that. But every time it does. Big thanks to Cheezy, Webbie, Besty, the crew and Mrs Cheezy (she's the one that actually does the work  )

We didn't do so well with a few buggy issues and a bad call or two. Saying that we had an absolute blast. Saturday night as absolutely halarious. TAZ is going to need some body armour for the next round of the human rock crawling, I'm still sore.

Next year we'll be back with a few things sorted on the buggy. Have worked out what we need to do to it, lots of this around re-wiring the whole thing (damn auto elec) and some more strength.

Thanks again to all who organized, marshalled and volunteered. Not to mention the crane driver  without you the event would have been even tougher.

Thanks to Cheezy & Sharon and everyone else involved in Ozrock. I know there are a lot of you and if i try and remember them all I will forget some, so lets just say thanks to all involved.

This is an awsum series, and I think this last weekend would be the best event that I have competed in all year if not ever. Great tracks, great fun atmosphere and did someone mention the night life, all in all a great weekend. You guys realy try and look after the competitors well and are very light hearted and fun loving.....

I think you mite be right James, I am still sore also. one knee is very rock rashed, bruised and tender and my back is very tight and sore.

Might have something to do with about 5 or 6 tackeling me to the ground, then stack's on poor little Tazz, followed by a topping of bourbon and raw eggs, before being dragged of and almost being jammed into the bin.......

I wonder why I got picked on, after all I was being so quite all night wasnt I :?:

Was a great night and had a heap of fun even tho i'm still paying for it.

Now you guys @ Ozrock have a lot to live up to next season don't you.... I cant wait.
