GU diff ratios

as follows

3.9
4.1
4.3
4.6

The above are all genuine can get aftermarket 4.88...

And provided the GU diff (entire centre ) is a small diff hs233 yes that will bolt into the rear the of the GQ not a problem. However the front CW & P need to be rebuilt for the GQ front ends, CW & P are the same in both types of vehicles its just the diff centre housing is different between GQ and GU.

Also to note that some GU's came with a rear large diff and i believe the only ratio they were in were 4.1 and 4.3 and they were found in the petrol & diesel (3L only) manuals but nissan did mix and match a little bit.

I fitted 3.5's to my GQ, they were out of a GU 4.8 auto,
As for the 4.6 ratio differences ,count the teeth,
Cheers Phill.
